Suspected drunk driver arrested in connection with fatal wrong-way crash in Garland

A 23-year-old man has been charged with intoxication manslaughter in connection with a crash that killed a motorcyclist in Garland.

Matthew Tynes, of Grand Prairie, was driving a Chevrolet Camaro the wrong way around 11:30 p.m. on South Garland Avenue near Miller Road when he struck a motorcycle, police said.

The motorcyclist, 22-year-old Dale Anderson of Garland, was taken to the hospital where he later died, police said.
